About PAAR

 

The Parkersburg Area Association of REALTORS® was chartered in 1971 by the National Association of REALTORS®. The PAAR is a real estate trade association comprised of approximately 182 members and is an all REALTOR® Association.

The purpose of the Association is: 

• To serve our community as a trusted voice and advocate for real estate in the Mid-Ohio Valley.

• Advance the value of property ownership and safeguard the interest of property owners.

• Promote and uphold high standards of professional conduct among members.

• Uphold and enforce the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics.

• Empower members with knowledge, professional development, and advocacy to succeed in a competitive market.

• Ensure REALTORS® play a vital role in building strong, resilient communities by connecting buyers, sellers and industry professionals.
